Welcome to this new range of monthly art workshops Exploring Art where we will explore some key art movements and influential artists, from the observational sketching of Leonardo Da Vinci, impressionist painters Vincent Van Gogh and abstract expressionists like Jackson Pollock.
You will also learn how to use art mediums including watercolour, graphite and collage.
What you need: All materials needed to get you started are included, however, if you do have your own materials, we encourage that you bring these to use in class.
Tutor: Emma Morrissey
You will be taught by professional, multidisciplinary Fine Artist & tutor Emma Morrissey, aside for portraiture, Emma loves creating imaginative, fantasy illustrative works & crafting.
She is degree trained in Fine Art & has a master’s degree in Teaching. She is also a Fellow to the Higher Education Academy & teaches in a humanistic way, helping each person to develop & identify their unique way of creating art.
