Art for Adults with Learning Disabilities (Autumn 2021)

Join us to enjoy Art for Adults with Learning Disabilities. Explore painting, collage and other expressive mediums in this fun and creative art class.

What you need: Clothes that you don't mind getting messy (we try to keep classes as clean as possible).

Tutor: Julie Tucker

Julie is an artist and tutor living in Fareham-Hampshire. She has a background in community Arts and has worked with all age groups on many projects. Her passion is Fine Art, particularly oil paint on canvas and she simply adores the genre Impressionism!

She teaches various art classes at Ashcroft Arts Centre in Fareham (we started with one class and now have six full classes). Julie truly believes that art as a medium is incredibly therapeutic and should always be fun and relaxed - it is about empowering individuals to paint and be creative freely without judgement form others.

“To truly paint is to find oneself amidst the chaos of the world we live in” - Julie Tucker.

Tickets: £18 for the whole 6 weeks OR £3 per session*. We have provided a £3 per session drop in price which can be used if you are unable to make all of the classes or if you would like to come and try the class out, if using the drop in option on the payment page, please make sure you select all of the dates you'd like to attend using the calendar tool.
