Discover the many benefits of this eco-friendly alternative to single use products in a fun, relaxed and friendly workshop with step-by-step guidance suitable for all levels.

Date: Monday 7 March, 6pm - 8pm.
Materials: All materials are included - you will choose your own style of pad and materials and will take home what you have made. Please bring your own sewing machine threaded up and ready to go if you have one, or you are welcome to hand sew if you prefer. Optional extras can be made available to purchase on the day, such as DIY kits to keep making at home or as a gift for a friend.
Tutor: Sarah Appleton. Sarah graduated in 2016 from the Textiles course at the Arts University Bournemouth with a specialism in hand stitch. Since graduating, she has exhibited her work in London, North Wales, Birmingham and across Dorset and also takes on bursaries and private commissions.
Sarah has several years worth of experience teaching craft workshops and has a passion for all things eco-friendly and thinking up creative ways of reusing materials. Along with sewing and embroidery, Sarah's interests include printing, crochet, photography and her cat, James!
