Felt Hats workshop

You will spend the day designing and making yourself a unique felted hat. Sarah will help guide you through the techniques required to make yourself a hat that you will be proud to wear.

Whether you decide for simple and sophisticated or bright and funky you will all start with the basic skills of 3D seamless felting. Techniques to integrate fabrics will also be used. The day will be full of tips and techniques on how to make and design your hat so that you will be equipped with the skills to go away and make more, should you wish. 

Sarah is a textile artist with a passion for feltmaking that originates from her love of sheep. Living in the New Forest, her work reflects her desire to connect with nature and the importance of sustainability. She currently runs her own textiles business teaching, exhibiting in teh UK and internationally and selling her work through galleries and online.

Suitable for all abilities but please be aware that this workshop requires that extra bit of muscle power and effort! 

All materials are provided and the cost is included in the workshop fee.
