This is a workshop for learning about 3D seamless wet felting to make a small bag or purse. You will learn how to design, measure and size your template according to shrinkage rates. Experienced, international textile artist Sarah Waters will cover a variety of techniques and will be there to guide you through each of the processes and will take time to discuss your individual ideas and to develop your individual skills.
This workshop is suitable for all abilities.
Students will need to bring:
· Pen and paper
· Camera/phone (optional) for visual reference
· Apron (optional) feltmaking isn’t messy but you may get a little wet
· 2 plastic bags (without holes!) to put over your feet
· Plastic bag to take your work home
