Christmas Prints – Wood and linocut printing workshop: design a festive image to print onto cards and gift wrap.
On this one day workshop you will learn how to design an image, and use cutting tools to carve your design into a wood or lino block. You will then ink and print your block onto a selection of papers, blank cards, and wrapping paper.
Your design can be original, a found image of your choosing, or based on images and prints from the selection provided. Simple methods of introducing more colours into your prints will be covered.
You can take your block away after the workshop to print more at home. It will be possible to buy extra materials.
