What is a Gonk? The Nordic Santa or to use its proper name, Tomte, is a mythical character which protects children and animals and loves to eat porridge.
In recent years these cute, short, bearded characters have become increasingly popular in the UK they many designs and sizes and are even used to decorate homes all year round.
