You will be introduced to the fascinating contemporary form of Improvisational Patchwork.
You will discover new ways to use up precious pieces of fabric and convert them in a new cloth.
This taster session will provide you with useful tools to release your creativity using traditional techniques in a new flexible and fun way. You will create patchwork blocks with different shapes and you will learn to combine and use up all your scraps!
There will be sewing machines, a basic sewing kit and scrap material for you to use. But please feel free to bring your own machine and scraps of material along.
