Smart Club has been run by Elizabeth for 15 years. Once a Primary school class teacher for several years but now tutors children at after school art clubs including the Saturday morning art club at the Ashcroft. Born in West London and moved to Fareham for a teaching job in the early 1990s. She enjoys walking by the sea, collecting materials that can be used to create art works, using alot of recycled materials and loves a bit of clay! Her favourite artists are L.S Lowry and Barbara Hepworth.
She has 2 grown up children (just!) who are very artistic. Her daughter is currently studying for a degree in Architecture but has followed a course in Graphics and her son draws excellent cartoon characters and animal sketches. One desire she has is to paint a picture on her garage door and maybe it could catch on!
