You will spend the day making a pair of fingerless gloves using recycled fabrics and dyed merino fibres - a wet felting method called ‘Nuno Felting’.
Using the seamless method (no sewing involved), you will incorporate fabrics with your fibres to produce your very own unique pair of gloves. Sarah will guide you each step of the way using this fascinating technique.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and the more advanced felter.
All materials will be provided.
Please bring: A notepad and pen (a camera is also useful, but not necessary, for visual reference). Although we will be using soapy water you should not get ‘wet’ or need to wear old clothes.
