A competition for comedians who live in or are from the southern coastal counties!
South Coast Comedian of the Year is a competition now in its 8th year run by comedian and promoter James Alderson, for those who come from (or live on) the south coast counties. We aren’t trying to rewrite the history books here, as we know there are some awesome competitions for comedians in the UK (and some awful ones!), but what we do know is that the south coast has a rapidly growing number of comedians who deserve recognition and this competition will give winning comedians a chance to make the UK comedy scene aware that they are making waves.
Come and judge some of Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Sussex and Kent's finest rising-star comedians!
