Stacy Mitchhart

Feel-good, warm southern music from Nashville’s classy blues man. A songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist, he plays a range of guitars, including lap steel and cigar box, but his main thing is the show. He’s a genuine high-quality live act, bestriding stages with his big warm personality and flamboyant style. The music cuts across soul, country and rock, but the blues is the core and his shows always leave audiences wanting more.

Stacy Mitchhart is rapidly building an enthusiastic following in the UK to match his outstanding success in the USA. Regularly performing in excess of 300 shows a year in North America and Canada, as well as frequently headlining festivals, his popularity continues to grow. This year, he returns to the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival following his hugely successful debut shows in 2018. Stacy is delighted to be making his third appearance at the Forest Arts Centre this summer.

More than simply traditional blues, Stacy incorporates elements of soul, jazz and much more into his solo accoustic shows. His superb guitar skills have seen him win many awards, including the prestigious Albert King Award. His masterful guitar playing, audience interaction and humour makes An Evening With Stacy Mitchhart a show not to be missed.
