Rob Johnston and Tim Gower

Rob Johnston has performed at many festivals and venues across the south over the years. His eclectic, vibrant acoustic guitar music and songs are a fusion of many styles and influences.

A classical background has led him to his own unique sound-world of global and folk roots, using powerful rhythms to drive the music.

Rob is currently working closely with percussionist Tim Gower and these 2 musicians blend seamlessly to produce a supercharged, acoustic event! Lots of new material with dynamic rhythms at the centre.

They are both seasoned performers at festivals, art centres, etc. and Rob has played live several times on BBC Radio.

Staggering playing…He is a mighty, mighty fine player

Kathy Rhodes

Kathy Rhodes is a singer/songwriter. Armed with a guitar and a soft, trippy voice, Kathy presents folk originals, and the occasional cover, filled with elegance, charm and uplifting, intimate, soothing moments of calm contrasting with dynamic bursts of emotion. Her songs have been described as “sublime” by the prolific French author/historian Dominique Lormier when he discovered her gigging in Bordeaux, where she lived and played for several years. She is accompanied by Ken Bisson on the violin.
