A new comedy thriller adaptation of the classic novel.

London, 1939. As the storm clouds gather over Europe, innocent bystander Richard Hannay is drawn into a web of murder and intrigue that will have a pivotal role in the war to come.

With a dead body in his flat, and both Scotland Yard and a group of dangerous Nazi agents on his heels, Hannay is forced to flee until he can make sense of the mystery and clear his name. But just who is friend and who is foe - and who, where or what are The 39 Steps?

This new adaptation of John Buchan's novel, inspired both by Hitchcock films and comedy thrillers of the 30s, brings a new twist to a classic tale.
