Course Introduction
Improve your drawing, We'll focus on graphite and charcoal. You'll learn some tips and tricks to help you observe well and to get proportions and angles correct. We'll practice different shading techniques and learn how to use values to make your images pop. We'll have a different subject matter each week from portraits to still lifes.
Led by professional portrait artist and tutor Sue Cooper, this course offers students the chance to learn the basics of portraiture in a relaxed and friendly environment.
No prior experience necessary.

Artist:
Sue, an international selling artist with a passion for painting both pets and people, as well as plein-air sketching. She teach regular courses, intensive course, private lessons, artist retreats and Paint and Sip events. She also takes commissions, sells artwork in her etsy shop and in local art fairs. Sue split her time between the seafront in Bognor Regis, UK and the foothills of the Sibillini Mountains in Sarnano, Italy.
