Discover the amazing and versatile qualities of Oil paint
On this course we’ll be looking at the process of oil painting and how to produce successful and vibrant end results
With step by step guidance and working on a range of themes, from still life to portraits and landscapes. Looking at materials, techniques and the the different stages of oil painting such as creating an underpainting, colour mixing & flesh tones, to applying colour, blending, adding shadows and light.
About Livvy Stainer
Livvy Stainer is a portrait artist and tutor. She has been painting and drawing professionally for 30 years. She trained at the renowned Heatherleys School of Figurative Art in Chelsea and has specialized in child and family portrait commissions for the last 20 years. She has a passion for drawing and painting the human figure and runs regular drawing classes in her hometown. She also runs painting and drawing workshops for various organisations across Hampshire.
