Spring Time Block Printing Workshop – Wood and linocut printing workshop inspired by the colours, plants, animals, and nature of Spring.
Looking at positive colours in ink and paper to create uplifting designs for brighter days.

On this one day workshop you will learn how to design an image and render it onto a wood or lino block. Using cutting tools, practice mark making to carve the design in relief. You will then ink and print your block onto a selection of papers.

Your design can be original, a found image of your choosing, or based on images and prints from the selection provided.
Simple methods of introducing more colours into your prints will be covered. Including use of inks and colour papers, cutting and pasting, to create multicolour images.

You can take your block away after the workshop to print more at home.

It will be possible to buy extra materials.
